I am doing well with Food, however, I could use more Options. I have been eating Seafood, Fish, Chicken, Veggies. Unfortunately my Thyroid has gone wacko, so I am having HORRIBLE symptoms. I am trying to keep up my food, until Synthroid kicks in.

I would greatly appreciate, good food ideas.

    I don't know what medical restrictions you have regarding food. With that being said, the only thing you have to do to lose weight is eat fewer calories in a day than your body needs. That means you can eat any food there is (again, providing it's medically acceptable).

    I eat reasonably healthy throughout the day, including greek yogurt or oatmeal for breakfast with berries, protein and carb for lunch, and pretty much a normal dinner - tacos, protein/carb, pizza (once in awhile). And I make room for a little chocolate or ice cream every night.

    Number one - make sure you are not eating 3 hours before and 1 hour after taking your Synthroid. Other than limiting raw cruciferous vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage) you should not have any other food restrictions. I enjoy eating whole grains like millet without a problem. Also don't expect the Synthroid to kick in and go back to old eating habits. Being hypo thyroid does make it more difficult to lose even with proper medication but it is not impossible. Good luck.

    Thank you, for your help. I usually take the Synthroid in the AM, however, I was not informed about not eating one hour after taking the Synthroid. I have continued to eat properly, not losing weight. I may have to change my Food.

    I have no food restrictions, I am eating Protein, lots of Fruit and Veggies. I cut out the cheesecake LOL

    I I Love Stouffers Deluxe French Bread Pizza . It's way below my calorie. Limit. Do I need to worry about carbs, fats etc
