Ok, I'm going to share with you one of the BEST workouts I've experienced...We do this as a warm up at training. It is mad strength training and cardio at the same time.
Take a Deck of regular playing cards. Each suit is a differend exercise (example):
HEARTS- push ups
SPADES- squats
Diamonds- v- ups or crunches
Clubs- burpies ( go from standing to hands on ground, kick feet out under you like push up position, then bring them back in and stand up)... ya these are rough after awhile lol.
Draw a card and do the number of the given exercise. Remember, in this Kings are 13, queens are 12, jacks are 11 and Aces are 14.
Continue Drawing cards and doing the exercises one after another. This serves as cardio as well, so no breaks until the Deck is finished.
This is an awesome work out and I wanted to share it wirth you. Let me know what you think.:flowerforyou:

if you can do the whole deck then yr in the wrong place lol
you should try www.onehundredpushups.com0 -
This is a great idea...although I would definitely have to choose different exercises than the ones listed in order to not kill myself...lol...but this is definitely cool...goes to show that you don't have to have expensive equipment to exercise.0
-

Did some of that till my shoulder dislocated again. Pushups would have to be against the wall, or substituted. And btw, I'd probable have a stroke after the first hand was dealt!:laugh:0 -
hotmomov4 thats amazing - u are absolutely incredibe0

I feel doomed just reading about it! but it does sound like a great workout sans equipment. And I can just imagine the celebration when I flip an Ace over!0
-
LOL ya, flipping that Ace over definitely can suck. This is an intense work out, but you feel so amazing after. I didn't realize my body could do this until I forced myself to finish the deck. :bigsmile:0

Ya, we did this again at training last night. Towards the end my partner started complaining... and it's hard not to lol... so our trainer made us both re do the last 20 cards again... 3 of which were aces and it seemed like the rest were either 10's or faces.... I really thought I was going to cry. no lie lol  :grumble:0
