Yes! Thanks for your kind words. Definitely not fretting over those comments anymore. It feels good to be on track and healthy over anything.2 -

Yeah in the before face picture I was indeed very young, maybe around 13 to 14 years old. In the before body picture I was maybe 15 and had already started my weight-loss journey. I've lost over 100lbs since these pictures were taken. Unfortunately I don't have pictures from my heaviest because I hated the camera. I am 20 now but everyone thinks I am much younger so I take no offence when i am told so
PS: I loved that film and especially the imagery, plus Danny was adorable

Hello! I do not have a before pic because before pics always depressed me when I tried to do them.
My beginning weight was around 174lbs. I'm currently 5'9, and now hovering around 157lbs. I always thought I looked okay, but others thought differently. My family would make so many comments when I gained the weight, commenting on my big hips and the extra curves I had accumulated. They would ask me if I was getting any fatter when I would see them. It made me feel worthless honestly. It made me angry that my family was so fixated on physical appearances and only praised me when I was 20lbs less. It hurt to experience their shallow ways.
Anyway, without ranting too much, I just wanted to share that I decided to become healthier because of ME, not for them. Even though not everything is currently "tight", I can still grab a handful of thigh fat, and I'm a size 12 in most jeans, I decided that I'm okay with where I'm at. I'm okay with who I am, and I'm even okay with when I was bigger. That was my weight to gain and mine to lose. My lesson was to not let people make me feel less than who I am, and that I don't need anybody's approval or validation to be happy in my own skin. That's God's job to validate me. You are uniquely fabulous in any dang size you want to be! And don't let anybody let you feel bad for being confident and secure in whatever size you are, even along your journey on MFP.
I'm done all. Have a good day.
Here is my after pic that I am perfectly okay with
You are wise beyond your years!
It's sad that you were made to feel less than you are.
You have a beautiful shape. Congratulations on your results, and for doing it for you!11 -

This picture popped up on my Facebook memories yesterday. Disney world 2012. I didn't realize how far I'd come!

Here is my most recent photo. It's taken 3 years and most of my family and friends keep telling me they don't remember me looking this big, well I deleted most photos and refused to be in pictures. I isolated myself. Now 3 years later I've stepped out of my heavy shell and found a new love for life.136 -

That must be a great feeling, just suddenly getting a reminder through FB of how you used to look.
