School yard fights: Have u ever punched someone in the face?

Oh yeah I almost forgot I punched the **** out of my ex-BIL when he got so drunk he started yelling expletives at my mom. When my husband stepped in he ended up on top of my husband. I jumped on his back without thinking and started punching the back of his head and trying to get him in a choke hold. Turns out when it comes to "fight or flight" my first reaction is fight. Hubby was able to get up and get him pinned up against the wall. My sister told him the cops were on their way and that was enough to scare him so he ran out of the house.
It was a combo bachelor/bachelorette party the night before their wedding. He had a goose egg on his forehead from one of my punches. He gave me props the next morning saying I hit harder than some of the men he'd fought with before.
Obviously that relationship didn't last long, turns out getting drunk and wanting to fight was a common theme for him.1 -
yes i have been in few fights growing up. i was the shy kid who got picked on until i couldn't take it no more. i got into very few fights as an adult. twice protecting my mom.. no body yells at her and threatens her. my creepy cousin and my sister ex. they both earned it1

yep and also broke someone's nose using my head. that was fun. I got hit too but oddly no bruising and he busted all his knuckles punching me. I have a hard head. Yes I said "he". We were in high school and I was protecting a younger girl I was charged with protecting and he was picking/pushing her around. Only fight I ever been in because nobody wanted their nose broke. Got a rep after that.0

i once punched somebody's fist with my face.7 -
Never been in a fight in my life.
I have tiny baby hands that I doubt would inflict any damage.0 -

I would generally describe myself as someone with a long fuse. Probably the best example of this was when i was new to a school, some guy, cant even remember why, starting kicking me, so I walked away, which meant he kept kicking for like 10-15 mins I thought, might have been more or less. Then I fought back and was suspended.
I never really liked the suspend everyone involved policy schools seem to have.

Only once in anger...I was at a night club, I went up to the bar to order a drink and a guy who'd obviously had too much to drink tried to come on to me..said I had nice tits and I should enter a wet t-shirt contest..I told him what I thought of his idea..the barman had just put a jug of beer on the bar (someones order) he picked it up and poured it down my front laughing saying he was making his own wet tshirt comp. Ive never been so angry in my life...I've done boxing for many years and am capable of handling myself but with fingers full of rings I chose to punch him in the breadbasket not the face, he fell back and went down. Im not proud of it but I drove my foot so hard into his nuts they became throat decorations...

if you're 'merican... why punch them when you can easily shoot them with a gun .....1

So in 7th grade this little punk threw a rock at me and I broke my hand punching him in the face. I was saying it was a bike accident but the doc was like "this is a boxers fracture. U are lying" I didn't care about authority anyway0

I punched my brother in the face once. It didn't really do anything since he's about a foot taller than me. He was actually pretty impressed hahaha (I don't recommend punching people in the face)1

8th grade socked one girl in the jaw and broke another's two fingers. All while the 3rd one had me by my hair.
Thats what they get for trying to beat me up over a boy! There were three of them all at once, and they definitely underestimated this little Spitfire!!!2 -
Only in the boxing ring. Never out of anger.1

I've never punched anyone in the face, but I did slam one guys face into the bar after he grabbed my wife's bum. Knocked him the *kitten* out.0

5th Grade, Robert Dechane... sucker punched him straight in the nose for pulling my pony tails.
10th Grade, A senior girl whos name escapes me, her and her friends did not like the fact that I was talking to a boy that they like so they bullied me in the hallway. I tried to walk away and they pushed me so I turned an punched her right in the face knocking her on her *kitten*. No one ever bothered me again, I was now known as Rocky through out High School. It was worth being suspended1 -
Never punched anyone in the face, but I did swing my backpack into someone's face.1

When I was in third or fourth grade, I got in only the second (or maybe third) schoolyard fist fight of my life.
I was not the type to get riled up, so when this kid started to antagonize me, I tried to walk away. That aggravated him further, so he punched me.
Well, as happens when someone punches you. I reacted, instinctively. I threw a combination of punches, all of which landed. This other kid backed off immediately and quit.
But, it made him cry. He had tears in his eyes as he shuffled away.
In my day, boys did not cry. We were growing up to be men!
So, my friends were congratulating me, but I felt terrible! I had humiliated this kid by making him cry. So, I walked back over to him, and said I was sorry.
He whipped around in a flash and BAM! He cold-cocked me.
The next thing I remember, two kids were helping me walk back towards the school. My left eye was swollen shut for a week.
Still don't like that kid......I hadn't even started it.0 -
I think everyone should experience a non-life threatening schoolyard fight at least once, and hopefully early. Seems like the people who haven't always have an overly-optimistic view of their fighting abilities. Too much TV.0

YES I HAVE BEEN IN A FEW FIGHTS0

Never lost a fight outside of the ring. The fights I lost in Martial Art Competitions or Boxing were by points.0

since you're yelling, i'm going to assume you got your *kitten* knocked deaf.1 -
Many years ago I head-butted a guy in the face when he bit me during a high school wrestling match between my school and another school. I think we were both kicked out of the match if I remember correctly. We were in the heavyweight class, and he weighed much more than me and was a beast; he could have killed me if I took a swing at him. The head butt stunned him sufficiently that I was able to get to my feet and out of the way until the referee stepped in.0

I've been in a few fights as a kid, teenager, and as an adult. I have tried to talk my way out of a lot of them. Sometimes I've had to defend the honor of a woman, a friend, and my country. I don't have a short fuse or anything, I just end up at the wrong place at the wrong time sometimes.0
