Overcoming a funk

2016 was a really long, frustrating year for me. So far 2017 has been worse. I have been not caring about anything. I went from marathon training to barely being able to run 3 miles. All of my clothes don't fit right. It's embarrassing, and tiring, and I'm over it. I want to get out of this and end this year stronger than ever.

Is anyone with me?! Has anyone ever been in a funk and gotten out of it? Any tips?

Use MFP to determine your daily calorie target then log all food to make sure you hit that target!

I do a lot of self-talk, such as what I do and don't really want. This brings my true desires to the forefront of my mind and I try to keep them fresh and use them to set goals that I've pre-thought out and that are reasonable and attainable. Good luck with yours. I've just started again and I'm hoping to be consistent long enough to achieve success.

I lost 32 lbs in 2016 and have kept it off which is awesome! However, I have 20 lbs to still lose but I have been slacking. I just got back in the gym for the first time yesterday in one year and that exercise buzz you get came on full blast. LOVE IT! We can do this. Just have to take that first step!
