How should I try to set up my eating habits ? I seem to be having 1 meal a day because I sleep the rest of the day any night shift workers ?

I feel your pain! I've experimented with ways to track meals while on night shift. My current method is to count from when I wake up (as a breakfast) to when I sleep (as dinner.) If I wake up and eat a snack, I'll usually count it on whatever "day" it's closest to.

I worked last night (Sunday,) so I counted calories starting from breakfast at 5pm until dinner at 8am. My day started on Sunday, so that's where I log it. I rarely get MFP to acknowledge my logging with a post about me completing my food log, sadly, since I'm a day behind by MFP's "clock." And that's despite setting my "local time zone" on MFP as late as I could get it.

I try to stick to three meals a day, whether my "day" is daylight or night time. Let me know if you find any good tips and tricks! Night shift life is rough. :)

Thanks for your help that's kind of what I've been trying to do, except I do it reverse I will get up and have dinner with the family around 630 pm so I'm starting off the day with the biggest meal and then go to work have a snack around 930 pm then "lunch" around 12- 1 am then finish with a breakfast around 5 am I'm not sure if it works but from what I've been reading it seems like it but again MFP logs a different day now my days between is a whole different story it is rough !! Best wishes
