Meratrim is a daily capsule, made with a blend of fruit and flower extracts, that claims to aid weight loss. Has anyone tried this caffeine-free product?

I eat fruit... And I have eaten flowers. Neither of which specifically made me lose weight.

Does it claim to aid weight loss along side a calorie controlled diet and exercise program?

Yes. They recommend a 2,000 calorie diet and 5 days a week, walking for 30 minutes.

I'd gain weight if I ate that many calories and walked for 30 minutes.
That tells me that they are not worth listening to.

It may have some ingredients that help with appetite suppression but if pills really worked, we would all be a lot skinnier of a nation. Personally, I'd rather put my focus on whole foods and a solid workout plan (which includes more than just very mild cardio). If you need volume, there are plenty of low sugar fruits/veggies and lean proteins that can keep you full.

Well that's the thing, the magic pill makes you lose weight if you eat 2000 cals and walk for 30 minutes and take the pill.

But to the OP, you only lose weight by consuming fewer calories than you burn. The people who make this product count on the fact that many people would lose weight simply by paying attention to their calorie intake and getting 30 minutes of exercise per day.
