Syncing mfp and fitbit

I'm really hoping someone can help. I am loving my new Fitbit. However mfp doesn't seem to be reflecting the steps, calories burned, exercise etc from my Fitbit. Yes they are connected. I went through those steps and it says it's connected successfully.

Does anyone know if I'm missing some step or something? I have searched high and low on websites, help section, YouTube, communities etc and have not found one single helpful tip. Please help!!

    Ok I finally just figured out the steps part.
    Open up the app
    Click on "more"
    Click on "steps"
    Choose "Fitbit"
    Mine had my iPhone selected.

    Now to figure out how to get my exercises to auto sync...

    No prob! The other thing I did was logged on to mfp and went to diary settings and enabled negative calorie adjustments.

    What do I when the app shows me an error message when click on "steps". Says it's unable to connect to the server to sync, even after resetting my phone.

    Do you have Bluetooth on? That has to always be on I figured out yesterday.

    Yes, Bluetooth is on and fitbit is showing as paired.

    I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and then it started working.
