Happy Friday! I have a Weight Watcher Scale that is about 6 years old. I try to keep it in the same place but if it gets moved at all it is off by 1-2 # Of course then I move it to find the lower weight....but it really messes with me! I'm thinking of just getting a new scale that will read the same good, bad or ugly wherever it is placed!!! Thanks for your help

Hi there
I had to ditch my scale this week and bought this one :
http://www.amazon.com/Eatsmart-Precision-Bathroom-Technology-440-Pounds/dp/B0032TNPOE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1311350945&sr=8-2
Eatsmart Precision Plus Scale.
I read a lot the reviews +1000 and it looks solid. Also, one of my MFP friend's has it and says it is great! Good luck0 -

I have a different EatSmart scale and LOVE it! http://www.amazon.com/EatSmart-Precision-Digital-Bathroom-Technology/dp/B001KXZ808/ref=dp_cp_ob_hpc_title_1
I also have their kitchen scale and am equally happy with that.0 -
Can you buy EatSmart scales in any retail stores (Target, Walmart, Bed, Bath & Beyond...) or only online?0
-
I believe only online but I am not 100% sure!0

Ah nuts! I was thinking my Friday "treat" would be trotting to Target post-work to buy a scale. Funny how one's concept of a treat changes :happy:0

Just bought this Beuer one a month ago with in Bed, Bath and Beyond with a girft card from my Bridal Shower:

It's amazing...I too had the glass weight watchers one that fluctuated by 1-2 pounds whenever I got onto it (even if I didn't move it) and have to say that this one (thought we don't move the scale) is amazing! Love the read out (nice and big), super east to set up and also does allow for more than one user profile. I also love that it shows me my current number in big readout and then right above it has my numbers from the last time that I weighed so I know my loss/gain immediately without having to remember! The scale is also a really comfortable shape to stand on (you'll know what I mean if you go and test it out). 100% love it!0 -

All scales will give you somewhat different readings if you move them around. They need to be on a hard, bare floor and on the most level spot you can find to be accurate.
I have hardwood floors, so I always line mine up with the same two floorboards to get it in the same spot for each weigh-in.0 -
Thanks everyone - I am new to this sight and loving the support! Enjoy the weekend :happy:0
