There is a "share button" on YouTube which will provide you a shortened link. Like this:

Now, it appears that the forums on MFP can automagically turn that into an embedded video. Actually, in the course of replying it seemed like the entire youtube link also got turned into an embedded video so you can perhaps skip that step (I subsequently removed the duplicate embed...)
