Are the calories right?

Hey guys! I'm 5'11, 23 and half years old and around 240 pounds right now. My lowest was 189-190 when I was around 18-20 years old. The calories my fitness pal says I should have is 2,390 calories? I work out 30-40 mins a day 4-5 times per week by doing 21 day fix and 10 min abs everyday. I have an office job, so I'm not really active any other time. I put "active" on my profile, but even if I put lightly active it is 2,000 calories. I barely eat 1500 calories a day right now, could that be why I'm not seeing progress this past month?
Please advise!

I work out the same amount as you and work an office job as well and set MFP to sedentary and then log my exercise. I only eat back 25-50% of the calories, since they're very exaggerated. I'm at 1200 calories per day but I'm very short, less than 5'. Do you weigh and measure your foods? Accurate logging every day?0

At 1" less than you, and set to lightly active, MFP put me at 1810. I don't find this hard to do, and actually eat a bit more on days I burn a lot of calories through exercise or extra activity.
Why are you finding it hard to get pass 1500? What are your meals like?0
