Hello fellow lifestyle changers, my names Maggie. I have a toddler whom I gained 70lbs with and have been struggling with emotional eating which is inhibiting weight loss. So far I am 4 months in and have lost close to 35 pounds, I'm at a point where self motivation is waning and sticking with food as fuel is getting harder. I'm looking for a community to help me get to my goal and move to a brighter healthier future! I have gotten into boxing and mma, hoping to pursue as a competitor!

Hey, I'm 6.5 weeks in, I'm down 26lbs. I'm hoping to hit 30lbs+ down by April 11 (2 month mark)
I log daily, and weigh everything. I'm also looking for more motivated people to keep the fire burning.

Trying to lose another 30 by July, but I would take it by November which would be a year!

26lbs in less than a month is incredible are you just cutting cals or working out?

Well 26lbs in little bit less than 2 months, not a month lol. on the 11th will be 2 months.
Cutting Calories, been eating fairly strict. Sort of the same meal every day.
I do ICF 5x5 3 days a week at 5am, and on non lifting days I do Cardio, 3.5mph @ 13 incline for a hour.
I also make sure I get 10k steps daily on my Fitbit. I think last time I checked my average is 12k per day.
My lunch and dinner is 1 cup broccoli 1/2 cup rice or quinoa, with 6ounce ground beef, chicken, or ground turkey.
And over night oats every morning for breakfast.

Ha! Sorry I was thinking a little over a month and less than two, proofread 101. Ugh. I've been using food as an emotional crutch and I go through bouts of strict eating, get superb result and then bouts of still staying under cal limit but it's more maintenence eating I suppose.

Yea I hear ya, don't get me wrong, I do stand still for a week+ sometimes, but drop like 3-6 the next week. I seem to go through this pattern that usually last a week of my weight literally not budging up or down, but the key is to be PERSISTANT and to PERSEVERE through it all. This morning I woke up to over 3lb loss.. I was about to give up last night a bit and was going to just eat a little extra but decided not to. When I do lose the 3-5 lbs finally, I reflect back and think to my self, remember a few days ago when you wanted to splurge? aren't you glad now you didn't? That has been helping me a lot, reflect on the week before and reflect on how you felt at that time and how you pushed through it.

Ah, thank you. It's what I needed to hear just to push past that hesitation to grab a little more and move on.
