Joint support when lifting

Hi all, I've been taking my lifting a lot more seriously over the past few months, and have seen incredible strength gains.
The problem is, I feel like my joints haven't caught up to my muscles. For instance, sometimes doing chest presses, my muscles can move the weight, but the pressure on my wrists is intense, almost to where they feel like they could snap. Can anyone recommend a brace or a course of action? I'm a woman with small-to-average hands and wrists. I'd hate to lose the gains I've made, but I don't want to injure myself either. Thanks in advance!

i wear wrist wraps when i bench. But be careful, you are only as strong as your weakest link, just because your muscles can do more doesn't mean your other body parts can and that's when injuries happen. be smart4

Some exercise to help strengthen them as well.

Are you letting your wrists bend back at all in bench press? My trainer stressed the importance of keeping the wrists straight, and I wear wrist wraps because of an injury that becomes agonizing if I let my wrists bend even a tiny bit.0
