Hi,
What books have you read that have helped you when losing weight?

I have never read it, but a lot of people on here seem to like The Beck Diet Solution. It's not a "diet book", but is based around cognitive behavioural therapy principles.1

The two that I recommend are John Walker, The Hacker's Diet (free e-book), and Yoni Freedhoff, The Diet Fix. Walker approaches weight loss as a problem of engineering and management. Freedhoff offers a good account of why most people who diet ultimately fail, and then gives a series of principles that have been shown to be effective in making lifestyle changes. He packages those as a ten-day "reset," which is a bit gimmicky, but the ideas are good.2

Another gimmicky but good (if don't get too annoyed by the gimmicks) book is "I can make you thin" by Paul McKenna.
I also liked "The Pleasure Trap" by Douglas Lisle. Ignore the veganism if that isn't your thing, it's a good book anyway.
And "Brain over binge" by Kathryn Hansen.
"French Women Don't Get Fat" by Mireille Guiliano. I think this is one I have read.
And finally "Easyweigh to lose weight" by Allen Carr. Veganism here too, and a bit repetetive, but a great read.0 -
Disease-Proof by Dr. David Katz. Amazing and amazingly simple conceptually. Focuses more on health than weight loss specifically, but is a huge motivator to do everything you can to maximize your health.0

"Health at Every Size" by Linda Bacon, this book really helped me change how I viewed myself and my size.0
-
The Muscle and Strength Nutrition Pyramid by Eric Helms.0

Pollen's books, Good Calories, Bad Calories, The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Living, Eat Clean Diet by Tosca Reno, Atkins, Keto Clarity, Vegetarian Myth, Obesity code, Dr Bernstein's Diabetes Solution.
Most of these are LCHF books.0 -
My new favorite book is The Hungry Brain by Dr. Stephan Guyenet. Neuroscience and nutrition collide into one of the best books ever written, imo.0
