I need some foods that I should eat while on a diet so I can meet nutrient needs

Log the foods you normally eat and see how the nutrients look in those.
Meats, fruits, veggies, legumes, etc. can be used to meet your nutrient needs. Which ones do you like?1 -

If you want to get anal about it, try and get a dark leafy vegetable, an orange vegetable, a dairy source, an oily fish or other protein, and a fibrous carb in to every meal. With a fruit for dessert.
Fortified foods are great too. Like a slice of Wonder bread.
A whole egg is amazing.

So have your egg with some Kale roasted with a little olive oil and sea salt.
