Good for you! Never ever keep them "in case" - if your "thin clothes" are too tight that is not a reason to buy ne big ones but a reason to get back to weighing your portions!
I wish manufacturers would standardise clothing sizes though, as my wardrobe includes UK sizes 12-16: I've got size 12s which are loose and size 16s which are snug. If I think I should throw something away as its the "wrong" size, I have to try it on first if I've not worn it recently to be sure!8 -
good job thank god for thrift stores I donated so much to buy all new would cost 1000s no one ever tells you after loosing all your weight youll go broke buying new clothes5

I brought a ton of stuff to Goodwill. Somewhere near me is a guy the size I used to be with a whole new wardrobe :-)2

I have the same policy with clothes that are too big...only less dramatic :-)12 -
Getting rid of the old too big stuff is by far one of the best non scale victories you can accomplish.

I went shopping to buy some shirts today. The old ones are just hanging loose on me. I was wearing XLs, so I grabbed a few large shirts. To my surprise they were all to big. The medium fit perfectly. Yeah baby, yeah!10
