I have been eating a healthy diet for two weeks now and I started exercising at my local fitness center last week. I feel so empowered to just be the best me that I can.

Nice work but do not get your hopes up and think you will be able to sustain that rate indefinitely.
It will be mostly water at first and the more fat you have to lose the quicker it may come off - for a while.
Weight loss is not linear. Don't be shocked or disappointed if it goes back up occasionally.
Just stick to the program.
A long-term goal of 1 pound per week is about the best you will usually average.
Great job on hitting the gym. Adding some muscle is the best thing you can do if you hope to keep the weight off.3 -
