No eggs. No gluten

I need breakfast ideas that do not include eggs or gluten. Just found out I have a sensitivity and breakfast is the hardest meal to substitute.

Well, my go-to breakfast can be modified. Generally, I have a container of fat-free Greek yogurt over 1 cup of red seedless grapes (and one day, I will actually weigh them instead of measure them). I then crumble one Nature Valley granola bar out of a 2-bar envelope on top. I'm pretty sure those aren't gluten-free. However, you really want something to give it a little bit of crunch and for that, a moderate amount of toasted nuts, chopped would work. (Or if there are gluten-free granola bars that are crispy enough to crumble. It's not something I've looked for.)1

I eat tuna mixed with cottage cheese for breakfast. I've never been a big believer in "breakfast food".2

There are plenty of gluten free cereals available these days.
I generally have protein enriched cereal or fat free Greek yoghurt with granola2 -
Greek yogurt, GF granola, fruit.
Grits and bacon. (yes, I know, but 2 strips of bacon are 80 calories and will keep you full longer)
GF muffins with nut butter and fruit.

I do not eat gluten and also have an intolerance to eggs booooo... my go to breakfast is a large apple with 2 tablespoons of organic peanut butter and 3 pieces of breakfast chicken sausage. It fills me up and keeps me full through the morning. Occasionally I'll eat a small snack before lunch.
Oatmeal is another good choice and you can add things like quinoa and various seeds (hemp, chia, flax) for added protein and other nutrients. I'll throw blueberries in mine and it gives it enough sweetness and flavor or sometimes apples and cinnamon. Honey and maple syrup are also good sweeteners.0 -
Hi! I was misdiagnosed with celiac disease for almost 2 years so maybe I can help.
Gluten free oatmeal
Cheerios
King Arthur Flour has a great gluten free pancake mix
Fruit parfait
Sweet potato skillets
Grilled pb&j on BetterWay bread (Kroger makes a good generic, find it next to the normal bread)
Scrambled eggs with an orange on the side
Amy's brand tofu scrambles if you're in a rush. Add a dash of sriracha and they're perfect
Those were my usuals, but let me rack my Pinterest board and get back for more!1 -
Udis' Omega Flax & Fiber bread is awesome and GF. Greek yogurt. Any fruit or vegetable or lean meat that you like.0

My standard breakfast is a small bowl of fruit (mostly berries), some Kefir (yoghurt would be a good substitute) and a sprinkling of seeds.0

Coconut Lime Quinoa
Breakfast Power Bowls
Slow Cooker Breakfast Quinoa
Kielbasa Skillet (no eggs, sorry about recommending scrambled eggs earlier! Tofu scramble would work well)
Melon and Prosciutto Skewers1 -
I'm not GF but for most of the year with the exception of hot a stuffy summer days I have porridge (oatmeal) made with milk and with honey and dried fruit/banana. Some people don't find it filling enough but eaten with my morning coffee it keeps me going for hours.0

My go to is a full fat yogurt with fruit (what ever's in season) and a small amount of nuts (currently I'm a huge fan of cashews). Depending on how hungry I am, I might keep the nuts for a snack midmorning.0

Thank you all so much! This is exactly what I needed. I am also sensitive to nuts, but wouldn't normally eat nuts for breakfast. Today I had a protein shake with banana and honey it was delicious. I will definitely try all suggestions!!0
