I'm looking to get a heart rate monitor for work outs...any suggestions. I'm hoping to stay under $100 but I'm not limited to that.

what he said....I love my polar FT4 got it on amazon for under 100$0 -
Target has a couple good ones with bands for around $70-800

I'm also trying to get one but my budget is way lower that that. I found one on amazon for like 15 dollars. I know, I know...that might not be worth it but for the time being that is all I can afford. Hopefully it works well or at least well enough.0

Look for a Polar model that has the features that you want. I ride bikes so I want one that would track my biking activity (speed, cadence, power, altitude, etc) . I have a Polar S725X which is loaded with features for biking and tri-sports but is over you $100 budget.
Regardless of the feature you need try to get one that uses an encoded chest strap. They are much less sensitive to interference than the non-encoded types and if you are doing anything around other heart rate monitors you need an encoded version or you will be picking up every monitor that is near by.0 -
Thanks again everyone. I'm definitely going with a Polar model, but I'm just needing some heart rate and calories burned information so hopefully I'll find one <$100
Thanks again, everyone!0
