What's your current and goal weight? How much have you lost? I think I'll be more motivated by seeing weight loss for people around my height (as in, if you are 130lb, it's hard for me to think of you as overweight because that would be thin for ME!).
Please tell me your weight (at your current height of 5'6")! So heaviest you ever were at 5'6", start weight on MFP, current, and lightest you've ever been at your height. And your goals too!
HEAVIEST: 191lb. (early '09)
LIGHTEST: 164.4lb (7/12/11 morning)
STARTING: 179lb. (6/11/11)
CURRENT: 166lb. (7/22/11)
SHORT-TERM GOAL: 159lb (8/20/11)
FINAL GOAL: 130lb.
Ambitious goal would be to lose 6lb a month and get there by 12/31/11.
A more realistic goal (and plenty awesome) would be to be there by my one year anniversary of MFP, so 6/11/12!

Well I am just above that at 5'7" my current weight is 163... I started on MFP at 185 back in Feb. I just found out I'm pregnant so yay I get to gain it all back! lol With this one I am going to make healthier choices! I'm planning on still working out everyday and logging my food. Feel free to add me and any of my friends for support!0

I am 5' 5.5"...is that close enough? I am just getting started again. I had an accident running 2.5 years ago and have had two surgeries to fix what I had hurt. June 1 of this year, I had a pretty big shoulder surgery to repair to Labrum tears and shoulder instability from dislocating it back then...so, just getting back on!!

My goal weight is subject to change as I get closer - I know I will be a lot more muscular when I get nearer than I was when I was younger. I am aiming for a sz12 - I have a VERY large frame and know I will never be petite0 -

LIGHTEST: 144... well i was lighter than this like 5 years ago but i have no idea what i weighed. I didn't start weighing myself till I was at my heaviest, and got more serious on this site

Right after I had my daughter (21 years ago) I lost ALOT of weight working full time with a baby who would not sleep and at my lowest I was 128 which was TOO thin for my height and bone structure. I would be estatic if I could be 140 again someday and that is my ultimate goal. But, I looked damn good at 150 too!0

For me I'd be ecstatic just to see a 5 in the ten's digit! Before I joined MFP I don't remember being in the 160s, even! That's because after weighing myself when I was in sixth grade (130lb but obviously I was a lot shorter), I didn't weigh myself until at 5'6" and when I was in the mid-170's at the least.
I've been hitting a plateau for few weeks now and it's frustrating, though.0 -

I am 5'5.5". I am currently stuck in the 150's... I just can't seem to break into the 140's. I was 127 lbs on my wedding day. But to be honest I think that was too thin. My arms looked like toothpicks. My highest weight was 174 lbs. My goal is to be 135 lbs.0

I'm 5'6 1/2. I currently weigh 170. I wear size 12 in dresses and 14 in pants. Some 14s are a bit snug. I'm medium/larger framed. I think I look pretty good at 150. My goal is 160 for right now. If I could get to 145 AND maintain that weight, I'd be super happy!!!! As a teen, when I played field hockey, I was in the 120s. I think that was a great weight but not sure if I would be able to maintain that at this time in my life.0

I'm 5'6"- 5'7" depending on who measures me.
Heaviest 170 - Sept '09 (started working out)
Lightest 135 - '98 (pre-kids, I have 3 all c-secitons)
Current 138 - (started working out in sept 09 and lost 25lbs, then herniated a disc and was unable to workout for 6 mos.)
My ultimate goal is to eat healthy, build muscle, slim down, and et rid of this tummy!... and weigh in at 1250 -

I started my weight loss journey in late June & just found MFP last week. I don't really have a definite # as short term goal. I just want to be able to wear a costume for Halloween and not look like a fat pig..haha... But really I just had an epiphany I guess? I want to be healthy & not dieting. I am changing my whole life- how I look, act, and treat myself. It feels great!0
