I am always looking for a new snack and this is an old one but I love sugar-free jello. That and a couple of tblps of fat free cool whip and I don't feel like it's a diet dessert and even tho it don't fill me up it takes care of a sweet craving once in a while. : )

Be careful. I tried the sugar free cool whip. It made me sick. When I looked more carefully at the nutrition values, the second ingredient is corn syrup.

I have another dessert you may want to try if your jello choices are getting "tired".

UPSIDE DOWN JELLO CAKE (a diet jello fruit mold)

Make or buy angel food cake. Use Splenda.

After you take the cake out of the pan, clean it & pour in your normally prepared diet jello. Only fill the pan one half full.

Your can add fresh/frozen/canned fruit to the diet jello pan to make it pretty, like strawberries, canned peaches, pears, berries, etc.

Once you finish with your arrangement, put the jello pan in the fridge to start firming. Take it out again when it just a little firm.

Take your cake/cake slices & place it on top of the soft jello. Return to the jello pan back to the fridge to finish getting firm. (The cake will stick to the jello.)

To serve, place in a QUICK warm bath (inside sink or a very large pan) to loosen the jello. Flip the jello mold/cake onto your serving platter. Very Pretty.

Make up a box of sugar-free jello, but only use half the water it calls for. Substitute coconut milk for the other half...and then freeze in popsicle molds. Soooo tasty! Lots of possibilities...Coconut Lime, Coconut Strawberry, Coconut Oarnge.....
  • I take sugar free cool whip and add sugar free jello to it and it is delicious. I only add the package of jello not made.
  • Even add fruit some

 This thread is from 2007.

How did you even find this?

I do love me some Jello pudding, though.

Jello makes my colon prep days tolerable.
