I need a little advice on something for a long time I've never been happy with my weight at my lowest I was 7st 3 and would only have 2 meals a day and felt ok about myself but was still not happy, I've now gone up to about 8st13 and have 3 meals+snacks most healthy and I feel so big and heavy, I'm only short and the weight shows, I try to go for a long walk when I'm off work because I really have the time for the gym cause I'm a chef and work really late and start early.....people say I look healthier now I've put on weight but I look in the mirror and just feel miserable....I just don't know how to be happy with my weight and find a weight I'm happy with

How many calories are you consuming? Eating healthy doesn't matter if you're not tracking.0

you look way better than me.. so what are you all worried for? and i'm pretty cute for a big girl. Stop the self hate.. you may need to see a doctor, though. Just let your heart out... and they can help you overcome putting yourself down.1

You should be happy with your body no matter what stage you are at. It's fine to improve upon ourselves, physically or spiritually, however happiness isn't all about weight. Keep working on you but look in the mirror and think positive thoughts. Try listing some things you do like about your body. Example: I like my legs and arms - I wish my midsection looked better but I acknowledge that even that area has come a long way. Be proud of the work you put in. *Also - another thing a lot of women do is to compare ourselves to others or say 'I want to look like her'. You will never look like another person because you're you. Everyone is different and the only person you should compete with is you. I give myself weekly goals and I feel happy when I accomplish them. Example: add a serving of veggies each day, go a little longer at the gym, drink more water, etc.
Be happy! Keep up the walking!5 -
I feel for you. Being unhappy with your body is miserable. It is hard to know without more details, like your height, but your profile picture is super cute and at 125 pounds you are probably not overweight, especially since others are telling you that you look healthier. Without any judgement, it sounds like you might be having some body image issues rather than weight issues. If you haven't spoken with a therapist about it, it might be worth your time, as this is the sort of thing they can help with.2

How tall are you?1

You're on my friends list and honestly, this seems to come more from self hatred and low self esteem more than the reality of what you think you are seeing in the mirror. Could you fit in, say, 30 minutes of bodyweight strength training three times a week in place of the walking? You can do it at home and if you stick with it you'll see amazing changes over time.4

The only way you will be happy with your weight is being happy with yourself as a whole first. The weight is not the problem. I was miserable with my weight at my lowest and I'm miserable with my weight at its highest. The only thing that didn't change this whole time is how I tied my esteem and self worth into my weight. I could lose 80lbs and be at my ultimate goal weight but is probably still be uncomfortable with it. You are gorgeous, own it!2

I think you should see a therapist. I don't think your unhappiness is related to weight, but more to underlying issues. You are trying to pursue perfection; then you look in the mirror and think, "I'm not perfect. If only I could lose even more weight." But no one is perfect.
Isn't 8st3 only like 115 pounds? Unless you are incredibly, incredibly short, I do not think you should lose any more weight.2 -

OP wants to be 101lbs0 -
We are the same height, and no matter what I do, I will never ever be 115lbs...OMG, I wish!!! I'm 137 and want to be 130 (which I was last summer, working on getting back there)...I think I have to agree with others, I don't think this is about the weight...However, when I was 150lbs, I was quite unhappy. Losing the weight did make me happier and more confident. But going from 115 to 101 at your height is not healthy in my opinion...0
