1.My weight has been fluctuating the last 2 weeks. It has just made me more determined to stick to my plan.
2. Went for a hike that I did last year (40 pounds heavier). It took me about half the time as last year, and I had a 3 month old puppy with me. (stopped for lots of petting from strangers.)
3. Went roller skating the same night.
4. I ate more because of all the exercise, but didn't go crazy with food.20 -
Last weekend I went shopping for new jeans. I found 4 pairs & all a size 6. I don't ever remember being a size 6 in my adult life. Further proof that the scale is not the only thing that matters32

One of the remote people at work was in the office yesterday. He introduced himself and shook my hand. We've met many times! He didn't recognize me33

Last night I was just checking things out in the mirror, you know, just to see how things are looking. I actually had the thought and am seriously considering going for a bikini this summer.31

Last year I was wearing 19 inch dress shirts and couldn't button the collar without choking myself. The rest of the shirt would feel fine, just the neck would be tight. Now those shirts are baggy on me. Today I buttoned an 18.5 inch dress shirt. This one is a better fit throughout.23

I have two to report today:
1) Apparently I have oblique abdominal muscles. Who knew?! I was standing with my hands on my hips and when I took a step I felt the muscles on my sides engage in a way I've never felt before. Guess all that core work is paying off!
2) Yesterday my 15 year old daughter riffled through a basket of clean laundry to find jeans to wear. She put on a pair and announced that they didn't fit anymore, so I told her to put them with my clothes and I'd add them to the ever-growing "outgrown" pile. Went to put away laundry last night and discovered that the reason they didn't fit her was that they weren't hers - they were mine! Told her this morning that they weren't hers and she looked at me, confused: "I don't know whose they are, then. They were so tiny - they're not yours." Wrong! :-D32 -

Me too! I have done this same thing at size 14 to the 12.....dang....but onward we go right??? Good on both of you!!!!9 -
I am so excited that I was able to fit a pair of Juniors size 17 capris! This time 3 months ago a size 20 was tight. The 17's are tight, but they button and that is what counts...lol.21

I have just run 5k. Outside (track around a park and sports area). For the first time in my life!!! In 43 minutes! I am still obese as per bmi so that's a win in my book! Who knew I could run 5k and not die??? Came home and had allll the food (weighted, chosen wisely and logged, but enjoyed it soooo much more!)30

My Dr took me off all Rx meds for Type 2 Diabetes (T2D)! I was first diagnosed 25 years ago at age 44 but never stayed with any diet.
since Jan 2013 I have lost 155# on WWers. Exercise with aqua aerobics, swimming laps and walking. At age 69 I'm getting the best NSV better health.
Other NSV was buying size 38 waist shorts! My biggest waist size was 54!

My 19 & 20 necks are going to charity. Right now I just don't have any dress shirts and told my boss I'm not buying any until I lose ~ 30 lbs more. Fortunately he's fine with that. I mean, an accountant not in a dress shirt?18 -

So I ran 8 miles today. After running 10 miles Wednesday. That's 30 miles for the first week of April. My highest weekly total ever. I'm going for 100 miles this month.
Also someone tried to give me a bag of donuts and cookies they didn't want. I ditched the bag. Don't have it, can't eat it!26 -
1) I need to find some new cycling routes. Today I slogged up one of my "favourite" (read - evil, steep, have-to-go-up-it-in-bottom-gear-whilst-trying-to-think-of-different-way-to-push-physical-limit-of-my-body) hill without realising that I'd done it. I remember starting UP the hill (had to stop at the junction because a selfish car driver decided to use MY road) but I do not remember getting to the top. How does that happen?? I was a bit pre-occupied today but I remember the rest of the time I was out cycling (saw those sweet lambs again, busy eating and bleating, also the nesting swans, still busy incubating/protecting those eggs - I'd love to know how many they have). Odd. I definitely remember going back down the hill - it was a very fast ride (would have been faster had it not been for even more selfish drivers - don't they know that I'm on the roads?):
That's the fastest I've been down that particular hill. 42.4 mph.
2) Over the last week, I have walked and cycled every day. That's 45 miles walked, 179 miles cycled.
So far this year, I have walked 321.5 miles and cycled 1,222 miles.31 -

I tried on pants from my highest weight. At the time of my highest weight, they were beginning to feel snug. Now, I can easily slide them up (without unbuttoning or unzipping) and wear them over my pretty bulky sweat pants. They're super baggy everywhere!

I have an NSV I'd like to share!
About 10 months (and 70 more pounds) ago when I started this weight loss journey, I was a size 28 and could only fit into specialty clothes like from Torrid and Lane Bryant. Since becoming a size 18, I've started to try to get out of my comfort zone with clothing. Anyway, this week I bought my first "romper/jumper/I don't even really know what this is called" and it's something I've never worn in my life. Wore it out last night and got wonderful compliments--and to top it off, I successfully refused dessert (they were macarons and looked amazing but I stayed strong!)

i had one. barbell club has a new member who is new to lifting as well, and i gave her a piece of feedback after her first ohp set that helped her a lot. i'm proud of it because it wasn't just some generic tip. i noticed the specific kind of trouble she was having with a specific part of the lift, and i realised why she was having it.
so after i explained what i had noticed to her, she went 'doh' and tried it 'my' way . . . and it worked beautifully19 -
Went on my first bike ride in about 6 years this morning! Somehow I'd worked myself up for months to feel super anxious about cycling on roads (yay for social anxiety). Even felt shaky just before leaving. But I did it and it was so fun33

100 days logging in. I fell off the wagon pretty hard for about a week, but rather than stay there and keep eating crap I climbed back on, thought I had gained about 5'pounds but it turns out it must have been water weight (thankfully). Even with that I was still logging every day. So here's to being back on track and a month away from my baby cousins wedding and seeing family for the first time in a year30

Today is Awesome! First of all, it's my birthday!!! Then, I ran my very first 5K race at my best time ever. And then, rather than taking an uber home, I decided to run the extra 3 miles back to my house. All before 7 am. Holy crap! Who is this chick???? If someone had told me a year ago that this was what would happen on my next birthday, I would have choked on my vodka tonic. Change can happen, you are never too old to try harder, be stronger, live greater. Have an awesome day!!!47

Pant-length ones are jumpsuits, short-length are rompers. Makes no sense but I LOVE THEM! You look great!!

Ran into an old bf at the store last night. Now, I have known this man since kindergarten. He was my neighbor growing up. I hadn't seen him in the last year or so. I spoke to him and he had no idea who I was.. in fact I spoke to him.. asked how he was and went on about my business. He followed me to the next isle and was like "Crystal?! I swear I didn't recognize you just now... You look..... Different" his face turning redder and redder with each passing moment lol..38
