That's terrific! I have about 70 lbs to lose too. Could you share what a typical day's food looks like for you?0

I'm 5'8".
I eat lots of fruits and veggies, fish, eggs, oatmeal etc. Nothing you haven't heard before. I eat healthy and watch my food intake. Portion control is very important. In the beginning I always wanted my diet to be perfect and felt really bad when I couldn't stick to it. Afte a while I stopped stressing out and overthinking. Just started eating whenever I was hungry. I would eat every four hours. I still had chocolate and on occasion cheat meals. I don't even consider it "cheating" because I was always careful not to binge eat - remember portion control is crucial. As long as you don't binge eat and watch your food intake and stay active. I stopped thinking about food as a psychological pleasure.
Knowing it in theory is the easiest part. You just have to stick with it. I never thought I'd say this but it gets really really easy in time. The body adapts so quickly. It's a self fulfilling prophecy: put in the work at the gym(or any workout/activity you enjoy) and the dietary decisions will make themselves. My body demands more water; more healthy food etc.
Change your thinking and just do it. Don't wait because time will go by anyway. I've been trough a few life changing experiences that changes the way I think about life and started focusing on more imporatnt stuff. It really is very easy. Cause and effect. It's like everything else in life. Nothing special to it. I think people who fail to lose weight have psychological barriers. Change the way you think about weight loss; learn to enjoy your workouts, learn more about the human condition; stop stressing stop counting calories stop OBSESSING over diets. Focus on different things in life; pretend you are already fit; pretend this isn't an issue for you. Learn more about yourself; enjoy how you are getting stronger. It doesn't have to be hard at all. I really really like sports now. I enjoy the feeling of being fit. I like running. I really enjoy the Freeletics app. If you focus on that make something that you enjoy you wouldn't have problems with eating. It is actually really beautiful to observe how the body changes.
But everyone realises things at a different time. It just clicked for me. Just be wise.10 -
