I'm at the end of a seriously *kitten* up relationship and thinking about getting back into dating.
What are your three questions to make or break the possibility of any future dates?

Do you share food?
I find sharing their food with me a must...
I wish someone asked me that on a first date:))) cuz i love cooking and i hate eating alone!..0 -
You could start with generic questions, e.g. What kind of work, How do you like to spend your free time, What kind of food, or so. Mother, cat allergies and STDs should be discussed later0

I haven't figured out 3 but one of them would be "what are your friends like?" You can tell a lot about someone by the people they choose to spend time with.0

To get the date in the first place, you would know things has he been married before, any kids, and perhaps where or what kind of work he does...so next I might go with,
1. If you have pets, he must like if not deal breaker
2. If he lives in his mothers basement, date over
3. If previous marriage, does he pay alimony and/or child support, he might be quite poor.0 -
1. Beach or snow?
2. What music do you prefer to frequently listen to?
3. How often do you nap?2 -
I think my REAL questions would be:
1. Favorite genre of movies? this will tell you if he takes things too serious.
2. Assuming you discussed occupation - where do you see yourself in 5 years?
3. and to copy ^ - favorite vacation spot. I love the beach and my husband would rather be dropped by helicopter into the middle of Alaska. It make planning trips a nightmare!!!0 -
To make a deal..
1- love the beach
2- family is super important
3- loyal
To break a deal..
1- using drugs or drinking excessively
2- no sense of humor
3- serious criminal background0 -

You: "Do you have any felonies you would like to tell me about?"
Date: "Like serious felonies or just minor ones?"

Have a few friends with prior convictions - some quite serious in terms of violence and debt collecting related matters - more upstanding than a lot of 'straight' people I've met, to be quite honest with you. The individual counts for more, imo.0
