I want to know your recipe! But I can't watch videos from here. :( I'll watch it later.

I just made some over the weekend. Mine came out to 242 calories. I wish they weren't as high, but I can't think of many ways to change that without diluting the protein too much.

    8 scoops protein powder

    little bit of milk

Have fun at the movie. I did!

That sounds pretty close to what I made. Next time I'll try your way.

    Nice vid!

A couple comments now that I have watched it...

I used unflavored protein powder. I ended up putting a couple of tablespoons of honey (was the only sweetener I had in the house, I think we were given it as a gift some time ago lol). I am thinking of excluding honey from my life for various reasons, so next time I'll either try a different sweetener or try to do without. I have seen recipes like this that included a mashed banana, so that may be an option to get it a little sweeter.

After you cut them, you can wrap them up in plastic wrap and then in a freezer bag, and store them in the freezer. They are small and thin enough that they thaw enough to eat pretty fast at room temp. And this way you can stick it in your gym bag frozen, and it will be thawed but not melted or gooey or anything by the time you are finished with your workout.

great post! and awesome idea for the gym bag.

also, for sweetening, you could use 1 package of jello instant chocolate pudding mix.
adds about 15 calories per bar.
