This is scary for me to post because I am very self conscious but I am proud of what I accomplished this year and know that if I can do it anyone can! I make healthier eating decisions and stick to my workout routine. I'm not 100% at my goal yet but this is the closest I've ever been!
Thank you to anyone who shows support

Could you share with us how you did it?
Yeah of course! This app honestly helped a lot. At the beginning I was strict about logging my meals and staying under my calorie limit. I have two dogs so I also walk them everyday for cardio as well as do weight room exercises. I try to lift at least 3 times a week. As for food: I don't really eat a lot of meat anymore. I stick to vegetables and fruits and get protein from nuts and powder. I always take the stairs and park far away from anywhere I'm going to ensure extra steps. Sometimes little things like that add up to be good exercise! I try to avoid processed foods and I never drink soda. The key for me was baby steps- you can't expect too much from yourself at once or else you'll run the risk of being let down and want to give up. Celebrate small successes!10 -
Great job! Do you mind sharing a timeline of some sort?0

This is great! I also have 30 lbs to lose. Right now I'm about 140 and I want to get to 110. Sometimes, it helps to see people starting from where I am. It makes it more real for me. How long did it take? Do you ever feel weird being thinner now or do you feel right at home?0

Wow!! Awesome!! My body shape is kind of similar to your 'before" but you did have a flatter stomach then and I have a slight belly overoverhang . Congrats on doing such a great job!!!!0

So it took about a year but I lost the first 15 rather quickly. It starts to take longer to lose weight the lower you get because I was also building muscle which weighs more than fat!0 -

It took about a year to get to where I am now but that was with some 'hick ups' along the way. I don't feel weird at all I actually love it. I don't get sad at the store anymore when I'm trying on clothes and I'm finally comfortable in a bikini. Definitely right at home, and I feel more active now too!0 -
Hurray for you - this post is a great way to celebrate!1

Thanks so much for sharing! Great job. My goal is to lose 30 too. The first 15 came off in 2 months and now it's been a couple weeks and the scale hasn't changed and it's been frustrating. I know it takes time so this is very reassuring and motivating!0
