needing inspiration and help

Hi All,

I am really tired of being overweight and feel very discouraged. I used to be about 120 lbs and have gained so much weight since then. I really just need some support because I feel very frustrated and like it is going to take forever to take weight off. I really struggle with food and eat junk to make myself feel better. Just reaching out for support.

    From one emotional eater to another, shift your focus off losing weight. Take small baby steps, add one serving of veges a day, do a 10 minute walk, don't snack after dinner, eat nutritious meals that are satisfying etc. I was totally crushed emotionally, 40kg overweight, had no goals and just hated what I'd let myself become. I found a gym class that I love, met a personal trainer who believed in me, and slowly but surely I got my mojo back. I don't diet as such (just started 5:2 fasting), still pig out occasionally (but not every day and don't beat myself up about it), did lots of reading about nutrition (want to avoid type 2 diabetes like my sister), and am super proud of the killer workouts I can now do (45 commando planks today - could only do 10 last month). You are worth it. Just keep going.
