Hello all.
I have this one question, apparently I have been exercising way too much. I play squash and tennis and basketball and I occasionally swim. (According to MFP, I lose about 3000 calories in a day, with exercising, and then it tells me I am starving myself.) I have been working out excessively for the last two weeks. I do weigh the same, however my clothes feel looser.
The problem is, --this may sound stupid, but I am afraid that only my legs would get thinner and muscly, and not my problem area (my big belly) playing those sports. Can that really happen?
I'd appreciate your help and support.
I am kind of alone here.

I hear that spot toning does not exist, so I don't think you'll only lose from certain parts of your body.
ETA: Welcome to MFP0 -
well i've heard that some people get thinner before they actually lose weight. and about the starving thing, if your burning more calories than what you are getting then is no good .... forgive me if i sound annoying >w<0

with all that calorie burn you gotta eat.
once you regulate the eating with the calorie burn, you will begin to lose that belly.
I figured it out, you can too!
good luck and friend me if you want.0 -
IS this type of exercise new to you? What is wrong with having a sexy pair of legs while your tummy slowly becomes tame?0

Thank you all for your replies.
This much of exercise is pretty new to me, when I gained the weight (over the course of a year) i stopped moving basically.
And if my tummy would catch up eventually, i am fine with my legs, i guess.0
