I'm so stress and not doing good. I need a root canal tomorrow and I had a filling with 4 shots and I still felt the pain. It was a very deep feeling. Root canals are worse and I don't want to feel any pain. I'm so scared I'm stress eating like crazy and have a really bad migraine. I'm so stress and scared I can't even get motivated to workout.

    Definitely ask for the laughing gas. If you call ahead and describe your anxiety, then dentist might even be able to get you an Rx for some anti-anxiety meds. Hopefully the pain you had with the filling was due to poor numbing and won't be repeated tomorrow!

    Thanks guys.. My dentist doesn't offer laughing gas or meds to relax. Its run by the state. I just hope. They numb me better and I get more then 4 shots because I don't want to feel any pain what's so ever. I'm having nightmares because of this
