I am trying to stay firm on my eating. I don't call it a diet, I am trying to take the weight off with healthy eating. This last year, plus, has been a hard journey. I took care of my husband who had a deadly brain cancer, I was his care giver, along with the help of hospice nurse and aide. I forgot how to take care of myself. So here I am AGAIN, going to take care of my health.

Getting back to that place after a loss like that is hard. I lost my fiance 20 months ago and I'm just now getting back to really getting my diet back in order. I was in a care giving role as well and while I maintained my gym schedule, everything else was just getting by. When he died I lost weight (in that unhealthy way that comes with not eating) then I went up and down a little bit. I'm finally reigning it in and back to more healthy food and I feel so much better. Re-learning to make yourself a priority and taking the first steps to getting there is a big accomplishment in itself.1
