Tip Of The Day

Sometimes, I post things on MFP headed "Keith's Tip Of The Day". Of course, I don't post them every day, it's really just a witty header, but here is a tip for the day: don't stress out. The body has a natural tendency to take better care of itself when its host (i.e., you) is happy. Taking care of yourself with nutrition and exercise is a very beneficial thing to do, but stressing when you fall off the wagon is equally as devastating to your progress as the actual act of overeating, or missing a workout. Be happy, live long!

    Thanks Keith. There does seem to be a lot of group anxiety about losing weight. When I see measurements of weight gain or loss to the 10th placement, I find myself thinking, "Step slowing away from the scale." That is why I don't have a scale. I absolutely obsess over normal fluctuations and what is the point of that? Causes me to drive straight to the imaginary chocolate cake store.
