I've been moody this week and just plain tired (i know no excuses) so i haven't really exercised and i haven't really eaten right. SO i gained back 2 pounds. I really hate this feeling. its also hubbys long week to work so i'm at home with the kids all day. (still no excuse)

I need a royal butt kicking to get me restarted. I've been here 30 consecutive days and only lost 5 pounds. Not happy with myself.

Hey don't feel bad that is still a pound a week and that is five less you still need to lose. I see that as a victory. Look on the bright side and have a great weekend.

What you need to do is take that stressed out energy and get some exercise going. It will bring such relief to your stress levels. I bet you are also moody, because you know you haven't been eating right or exercising and you are beating yourself up. Just take the kids (leave the kitty at home) and go for a long walk. Work yourself and the kids and everyone will be happier for it.

As for you eating - What I like to do it set some healthy snack on the counter for the day. That way when I want to snack, I see these yummy, healthy snack and eat them. My husband and daughter also eat them and then we are all better off.

Now get off you butt and stop making excuses!!!! (You asked me to kick your butt...) We are here to support, but it's all up to you.

5lb is a great loss and being at home with the kids is stressful. Take each day at a time and focus on what your doing that day rather than worrying about tomorrow or next week.

    Good luck !!

You really are doing GREAT! Ditto to everything the previous posters have said. Keep your eyes focused on the long-term, where you're going to be in six months, twelve months, and for the rest of your healthy, fit life! You can do it! And you ARE! :)

30 days and 5 lbs is fantastic. Really, I wish we could all stop expecting the weight to come off super fast. It's just not healthy or realistic. I struggle with this, too, so I'm not judging without also judging myself. I tend to obsess over what I haven't lost instead of being proud of what I have lost. It's a balance. I don't want to get complacent, thinking way to go me, I've lost almost 35 lbs. But I also need to stop berating myself for not having lost more.
