Hey y'all! I work as a cake decorator at a very busy bakery. I don't get off until 2am. At work I'm on my feet the whole time, pushing, pulling, and lifting heavy product. By the time I get home I'm worn out and starving! Any ideas for a healthy little snacks right before bed would be great help. Thanks!

A smoothie would be good since it is easy to digest. Go with a protein powder (i prefer unsweetened/ unflavored) a small portion of fruit (berries, 1/2 of a banana, some pineapple), a fat (avocado, coconut oil, nuts) and a liquid (almond milk, coconut milk). You can add spices or cocoa powder to change things up.

I like to have some cottage cheese mixed with raspberries and Love Crunch granola.

Oh a smoothie would be great! And the cottage cheese w/ berries and crunch sounds delicious. Thanks.

I like the cottage cheese & fruit idea too, but I drizzle it with some honey. F'in' awesome!

Eggs are always a great, healthy snack. If you like them hard boiled, boil up a dozen and they're a really quick snack when you get home. I love them with Sriracha sauce, but you can come up with dozens of ideas of what to put on them. Sometimes I'll take the yolks and smash them up with tuna or salmon, and a dollop of light mayo or even tarter sauce. Season to taste.

Carrots & hummus is always a nice snack.

Thank you for the ideas. It's helpful. I just got home from a shopping trip and am putting correct portions together in containers to make it easy to grab. Thanks all.
