I have always had problems losing weight but recently I have been able to without really even trying and I am not sure how. I am supposed to be consuming only 1200 calories per day in order to hit my goal weight of 150lbs. After tracking my food for today along with my exercise, I was concerned seeing how much sodium and sugar was in that food. If I am only consuming my required calories then do I still concern myself with my sodium and sugar along with my carb intake? I am new to fitnesspal so please bare with me. Any and all help is appreciated!!

Just take it day by day log everything good and bad, drink tons of water and move...as a woman I watch my sodium we retain water like crazy but it is good to stay within your range,we are all different but you will get it0

Most people advise switching out sugar for fiber in your tracking. It's more useful and meaningful. I track sodium but don't worry if I'm over. It just means I might have a day or two of water retention to deal with. Lots of good info in the threads that are stickied!
