Slimming world and calories

Hi just wondering those of you doing slimming world plan and tracking roughly how many calories you consume a day? And do you weigh and measure food because that is something slimming world say your don't have to do in the free foods just the syns and healthy extras

    I'm using slimming world recipes but weighing everything and tracking calories, and I find I'm losing much quicker this way. I have a big appetite so I need some sort of portion control. When I followed the slimming world plan of eating free foods like pasta and rice without weighing them I would only lose 0.5 lb a week or maintain.

    If I ate pasta without weighing it I would be massive again!
