Where to begin. I'm a 28 (29 on June 9th) year old single mom to an amazing little boy named Korbyn who will be turning 2 April 27th! I am currently in school to be a personal trainer & nutrition specialist so I need to focus 100% on my journey now more than ever! I have been fit, fluffy, obese, & morbidly obese & now I'm on the journey back to fit. In middle school I was the fittest & most athletic I had ever been, but then I had experienced some traumatic life experiences & turned to food for comfort. Fast forward to high school graduation day & I was a whopping 350lbs at only 5'4. I have yoyo'd over the past 10 years going as low as 214 lbs & back up to 275. The day I had my son I was 299. I have been struggling to get the weight back off & stay consistent, but I made a promise to myself in January that I would be my fittest adult self by age 30 in June 2018 so here I am to make it happen. I am currently 262.4 as of this morning & as of last month I joined the gym again for the 1st time in 4 years! I need to be more serious about my nutrition & I am starting IIFYM May 1st. Looking for new friends that are on a journey themselves & would like to hold each other accountable or just be friends & talk about life & the everyday random!

Hi there! Good luck on your journey and Happy early Birthday to your little boy. One of the biggest reasons i want to get fit is to be able to get married and start a family. Not that my weight is holding me back from that, but I know my boyfriend see's my self esteem is so shot because of my weight gain. I want to get healthy in order to be happy to fit into a dress, have a healthy pregnancy etc etc.
