- Bought a fitness watch; linked it with myfitnesspal to record net calories (in/out)
- Joined a gym; worked out 3 days a week
- Signed up for a triathlon; convinced by work colleague, never done one before, hated all forms of sport at school; as I always came last in any event I was forced to take part in
- worked out another 3 days a week at home; running/cycling/aerobics
- kept within net calorie goal; calorie food intake - 1550 (calorie goal) - excercise calories burnt
- Ate high protein (chicken/yoghurt/eggs etc), complex carbs (brown pasta/rice), reduced cake/beer to treats and social occasions (but didn't deny myself on my birthday :blush:
