I'm so sorry about your friend. This happened to us last year with a close mentor friend. He and his wife were marriage role models for us. He was fighting cancer and we thought he was fighting it well and chemo was working and then it all just changed on a dime, like you said. It's so heartbreaking. But he's not suffering anymore either, although we sure do miss him.0 -
