Because your calorie goal is determined without your exercise included..

Your calories scream when you burn them? ;)

Kidding aside, to answer the question I *think* you are asking in the title though... MFP works by setting your calorie allowance based on your current stats and weight loss goals... and is designed to allow you to eat your exercise calories back.

Something to consider though... If you are not 100% diligent about your logging accuracy (i.e. weighing everything) and are not careful with the estimated burns (many apps including MFP are very generous at estimating calorie burns)... then I strongly suggest eating back no more than 50% of your exercise calories.

You can adjust that in settings so that it does not give you extra

That is a feature only available for Premium members. The OP is not.

Non-Premium users can edit the estimated earned Calories to any value, such as 1.0 if desired.

I never eat calories back, I use the exercise to speed up my goals.

This isn't necessarily a good idea. Higher rate of loss can lead to a greater chance of muscle loss. Plus you need to fuel your body.
