I made several hundred jumps in my twenties.
Is that you, banks?0 -
..and oh...The worst part is actually letting go of the plane. Once that's done, there isn't much frame of reference for fluttery feelings in the stomach.1

I've done a few jumps. Tandem only. Was a few jumps short of qualify for solo when I decided I couldn't afford it long term.1

I am doing this next month if I can muster the courage. This is one of my bucket list items.
Has anyone done this b4? Does your stomach drop like it does on a roller coaster? What was your experience? Would you do it again?
Hello! I may be biased, but I absolutely think you should do it. I teach tandem skydiving (what you will likely do) with about 1,400 jumps so far. As for your main question, no you will not get the stomach drop feeling. That feeling occurs on a rollercoaster for a couple different reasons of which neither apply to skydiving.1 -
Wheewww!! Ok I feel better. I can do this!0

It's great!0

Do you know which dropzone you will be going to?0

I dont know my cousin is setting it up. But my only question I want to ask is what is their percentage of fatalities. LOL!!!0 -
Haha I'm sure it is very low! The national number of incidents (including everything, even a sprained ankle) is about .04%. That's 4 injuries for every 10,000 jumps. The most common injuries occur during landing so just do as they ask and you'll be fine!1

I was concerned about landing as well. I didn't want to break or twist anything. I think I might do this after I come back from vacation!0

It was the most absolute breathtaking thing I've ever done. Make sure to get a video. It's worth the money and then you can just take stills from the video for pictures. Worth every penny. And seriously, the view is magnificent. Have fun!!1

this is on my list to do, but I still have alot of weight to lose first. Good luck!!0
