Toning body

Hello!
I just wanted to hear everyone opinions on kettle bells and resistance bands?
My goal is to tone my body! I'm 19, female, 5'2 and weigh around 114-115. I just want to know everyone's results, any tips, good workouts and if these will work to help achieve my goal!
I have been doing Pilates, body weight and resistance bands for about a month now, and have notice a tiiiny difference. I've heard that adding weight will help, so I bought some kettle bells.
As far as calories, I don't count my calories. I try to eat healthy, stay away from sweets, cut out soda, and eat enough meals to keep me full and satisfied! I used to count calories, lost 10 pounds which I was super happy about, but I missed eating what I wanted lol. So I switched to maintain, which was 1700, and I know on any normal day is eat around 2000 calories.
Once again, my goal is to tone my body, will the equiptment I'm using help me achieve that?
Thanks!

I have totally transformed my 47 year old male body by swimming freestyle and diet! It really torches fat from the tummy and works and tones the entire body. Great for the mind too!1

A great, very detailed read: http://www.aworkoutroutine.com/muscle-tone/1

If body weight exercises don't seem to help with toning then add weights. Generally speaking lighter weights with high reps help tone. Heavier weights with lower reps will build strength. Good luck!1

How heavy are the kettlebells you bought? I have done Kettlebell conditioning for Women by Lauren Brooks with good results.

They are 5, 10, and 15. But I have not lifted any weights before. Of course I will up the weights once I need to. I'll probably start off with the 10 or 15

That's actually a really good start:-) Hope you have fun with kettlebells!0 -
Check out the free kettlebell workouts on Youtube. I highly recommend Zuzka Light for toning at home also.0

The tool is less important than the intensity/difficulty. You can do a lot with minimal tools, if you do the right things. You are going to want to incorporate some strength & some conditioning. And as always, losing body fat ultimately depends on how much you eat.0
