This salad is super filling and under 300 cal/serving:

    Other easy, lowish cal meals:
Omelet (skip or go easy on cheese)
Salad with protein on top: chicken breast or shrimp or tuna

I do it all the time.
I have been making tuna and cheese wraps and lately turkey and cheese wraps.
Salads are always a good low cal choice too. It can be done, you just have to be creative.

I'm making broccoli-mushroom-cheese-rice casserole and baked chicken. Right about 300ish calories per serving.

can of chicken breast,(or tuna) lite mayo, lower cal bread (1 piece) 1 oz veggie straws, microwaved red potato with 1 tsp butter. Eggo low fat waffle (70cal) 1 tbp p butter, 1 tbs jam large cup of fruit tea. lean ground turkey is very low calories, I have mine with a lot of veggies, 2 tsp butter & grated Parmesan cheese is only 20 cal for 2 tbl

I've made this recipe several times. If you use fat free cheese and cut the pizza into four pieces, they're 100 calories each so you could have 3/4 of the pizza. (Or have half and put more toppings on it or use full fat cheese, etc.)

As others have said, I like wraps a lot. I found a tortilla brand that's 50 calories each ("Ole Mexican Xtreme Wellness High Fiber Low Carb Tortilla Wraps") so I can do a lot with those. Two ground beef burritos with cheese are ~315 calories. I've also made wraps with turkey and cheese (~190 calories), chicken and almonds (~190 calories), and chicken with greek yogurt and feta cheese (~180 calories). I might pair some of these with Take & Shake potatoes (130 calories).

Gnocchi is another one I can get to under 300 calories. If you use a little bit of olive oil, spices, and fat free mozarella cheese, it's maybe 200 calories. Baked potatoes if you use greek yogurt instead of sour cream can also be very low calorie.

Soups and salads can also be good for staying under 300 calories, but I don't have any recipes off the top of my head.

Of course it's possible - I would personally call it a snack, but you can do a lot with minimal calories if you're smart with your choices :)

Yes it can be done skinnytaste.com has lots of low calorie recipes if you need some inspiration. Love her italian turkey meat balls and the chicken fajitas although I add things like avocado that puts calories up but she also has some great salads like chicken and mango which are pretty low cal.
