So I'm in walmart looking at protein mixes but outside just randomly picking one and trying, figured I'd ask first. Looking for a good tasting chocolate protein mix. Any suggestions would be great.

I just ordered some Bio-X (whey complex not the isolate) Rocky Road flavor. It's what my gym uses and every time I go I love the taste so decided to buy my own rather than pay $6/shake!

The price (to me) seems good and I can say that rocky road is delicious. I get them to blend in frozen raspberries and even just mixing it with water tastes great (previously had it with almond milk and couldn't taste a difference. Sign of a good tasting shake to me if it's still creamy and not chalky etc with water!)

Having said this I have yet to receive my own tub and to make it at home buy all the reviews I read before buying stated the taste factor and the figures (protein etc) look good too.

Hope that helps. I hears chocolate peanut butter swirl is delicious too and that the plain chocolate is also good. =)

Don't buy Walmart it's unregulated crap. Try ON or Canadian protein. Both good respected brands

Best tasting protein mix is my home made brand, protein powders don't agree with my digestive system.
    1 serving fat free milk= 8g protein
1 serving fat free cottage cheese= 12g protein
    1/2 serving fat free yogurt= 11g protein
1/2-1 serving finely blended raw almonds= 3-7g protein used for texture
1/3 can fruit of choice no syrup= <1g protein used for sweetness
Makes about 20oz fluid about 400 calories

Body fortress protein isolate is awesome. Was nervous about using it but was amazing in my shake yesterday!

The ones Walmart sells are garbage and I seriously dislike the company (the Muscletech) as a whole anyways.

Of the selection available at Wal-Mart, Quest is my favorite. Their Vanilla Milkshake one is really good. I you don't like the taste of protein mixes and don't mind driving to another store, you could get Hydrolyzed Collagen powder, which is tasteless on its own and mixes into anything.
