Hey ☺️
I'm 50, CW 167, GW 147 but want to lose 14lb in time for a family holiday.
I have high BP & Cholesterol and Plantar Fasciitis but absolutely determined to get rid of these things!
Any one fancy mutual support on the weight loss bit? ☺️☺️

if you only have 14lbs to lose you should have your mfp set to lose .5(1/2) lb a week, anything more is too aggressive. as for cholesterol for some, losing weight does not help. do you know what kind of high cholesterol you have? I have whats called familial hypercholesterolemia(its a genetic condition) and even when I was thin I had it(liver produces too much cholesterol).
I have to eat low fat and take med(low fat alone didnt help). I cant do keto because of the high fat(my liver doesnt process it properly like most people).
some people find doing keto or even low carb helps with cholesterol. for some it helps their BP as well. you may want to look into those things and see if that will help with those issues. but 14lbs by june may not happen.slow and steady is best especially when you dont have a lot to lose. good luck4 -

I'd love to join! Just signed up to mfp today and looking for a challenge. I go on holiday on 17 June so would be perfect timing! I have tried since xmas to lose and not lost a lb so tracking everything as of now.1
