Hey guys, I'm really hoping you can shed some light for me I'm doing everything right to aid me in loosing weight and so far it seems to be working meal prepping is no problem at all, the issue is eating in between meals, I need healthy nice snack ideas. I can't eat those horrible nakd bars or bounce balls they are just horrid in my opinion. I have a really bad sweet tooth and it's killing me not having an alternative to chocoloate or cake. So far I've mainly been eating fruit but it's not exactly a substitute for a chocolate bar.Lol any recommendations would be great! Thank you!!

Not really healthy snacks, but I like having party rings which are only 29 calories per biscuit or mini brownie bites that are 40 calories or recently it's been mini creme eggs which are 52 calories. If I want something sweet or some chocolate, nothing healthy will satisfy that, so I eat some chocolate or biscuits and just make sure it fits in my goal. I like to leave around 150 calories every day for stuff like that.2

No way party rings are only 29 calories per biscuit! Ou I love your way of thinking, think I might do the same with about 100 of my calories. Where can I purchase those brownies from also?0

rice cakes, all flavors.veggie straws, lean ground turkey patty0

You could also just not snack, and build in a daily piece of chocolate into your calorie limit.2

I love rice cakes with peanut butter and you can put mini dark chocolate chips on them also.1

Ou I do like rice cakes I always went for the flavoured ones though which I had to give up when I dropped carbs. But I could try the plain ones with peanut butter. Thanks0 -
For your chocolate fix: coconut oil; cocoa powder; chopped walnuts, salt & honey. Melt the coconut oil (about 1/2 cup), add 1tbsp honey & mix in thoroughly, then add 2 tbsp cocoa powder & mix. Taste & make sure it is chocolaty/sweet enough & add extra cocoa powder/honey if needed. Add chopped walnuts & a bit of sea salt. Continue stirring until it starts to cool & harden (you don't want the oil separating), then put in the refrigerator. It turns out like fudge & the coconut oil gives it a buttery texture.1

This turns out to be far more calories than a piece if chocolate... coconut oil, honey and walnuts are very high calorie! 1 TBS coconut oil is approx 90-120 cal, honey is 21 calories per tsp and walnuts are 81 calories for around 12g, plus cocoa powder (10 is so calories) so you're looking at approximately 200 calories for that tiny amount. A chocolate bar has between 190-250 calories....0 -
Dark chocolate, flavoured Greek yogurt, plain rice cake with nut butter, cottage cheese (sweet or savoury), boiled egg with salsa or hot sauce. Sometimes I just do a few chocolate chips and craisins0

I mix vanilla yogurt with chocolate protein powder which makes a very good chocolate pudding dessert/snack with about 40ish grams of protein.0

Fresh pineapple chunks dusted in Cocoa powder. I buy a fresh pineapple once a week just for that. Lol. I place mine in a container on wax paper in the fridge. I also get my chocolate fix from a protien shake as well0

I would never make it if I had to give up all chocolate.2

100 calorie Emerald almond packs and light & fit 80 calorie greek yogurt is what i eat. A lot of people recommend rice cakes but i cant have those since the carbs make me want to eat the whole bag. For a chocolate bar replacement what helps me are the chocolate quest bars. Usually when i have those I have no desire to go out and buy a snickers.0
