Not sure how much I should weigh?

So I'm 5'5" and at the moment can be anywhere between 190-210 lbs (I binge often, trying to stop this, so I think it's usually water weight and I think I'm around 200 pounds when I eat well for a couple of days). I have quite a large frame and I look lighter than my weight. I look overweight but I find it strange that I don't look 200 pounds! I'm also only a size ladies 12-14 (would like to be 8-10) when most people that I know my size are a size 16ish. Anyway all the sites I look on/BMI things are telling me completely different things! What would roughly be a good end goal weight? Thanks

Your goal doesn't have to a weight. It could be s dress size or a cholesterol decrease or a marathon time.4

You can change your goal whenever. Maybe start with 160 and reevaluate every 5 lbs.2

Yeah, 5'5 is a hard height to find a goal weight for. That's my height as well. BMI calculators put normal as like 111-144, which is a huge range! I know for me, I tend to look and feel my best on the lighter end of that scale, I would just say to play around and see what looks good for your frame.1

Don't worry about BMI in my opinion it's not a realistic number. I'm 56 years old 6 foot 4 my current weight is 208. According to BMI I'm considered overweight. BMI says I can weigh between 155 and 205 to be considered normal range.
If I weighed a hundred sixty or a hundred sixty five pounds I would look like a skeleton totally not a realistic goal at all. Also to put things in perspective every guy in the NBA is considered overweight or worse by the BMI index.
As far as what you should weigh that has to be a personal decision. You have to look at yourself in the mirror and go I'm comfortable with where I am. You may not have the perfect figure and most of that is due to genetics. I'm never going to be big and bulky because of my skeletal and muscle development. I have a physique and a body style that's cut more like a swimmer so I'll have lean long muscle mass which I'm perfectly comfortable with2 -
Check out this chart. You want to be below the red numbers and above the blue. So for 5'5", looks like 115 to 145 is a good range to aim for.

You are currently bouncing around a BMI of 33, solidly in type 1 obesity category. Why not take your life/body change in stages and target the middle of your overweight BMI category - 165 lbs.
Once you get there, reassess how you look and where you want your goal weight to be. You might also pay to have a fat test done, so your frame is taken into account.1 -

This. I don't actually have a goal weight myself. I was significantly overweight when I started, now I'm at a pretty healthy weight but I'm planning to keep my deficit and hopefully lose some vanity pounds. At some point, I'm going to look in the mirror and say "I'm done" or "I've lost enough and now I'm going to eat at maintenance and work on building muscle or getting more toned." So you don't have to know what your end goal is before you start. You can set a goal of 10 pounds and when you lose it, decide if you want to lose 10 more. BMI can be a helpful guideline, but there's a big range of what's considered healthy going just by BMI. (I'm 5 foot exactly, so going by BMI I think I could be considered healthy anywhere from 94 pounds to 125 or something.) So go for whatever number corresponds with a size where you're happy with the way you look and feel. (And maybe consider consulting with your doctor if you think your final weight might be over or under what's considered healthy.)1 -
I'm 5'6" and about 185 and currently wearing a US size 10...so just about the same body type as you. If a particular size suits you, use that as your goal. You can always alter your ultimate goal as you go. Plus pounds and sizes are tricky, it took me losing 23lbs to go from a size 12 to a 10 when some people lose a size every 10lbs.
I stopped trying to establish a long term goal in favor of making it to my short term goals and then examining where I'm at and what my next goal should be1 -

At those stats, you must have a LOT of muscle. I think more typical stats would be a more reasonable goal for the OP, unless she is planning on starting a very serious lifting program.0
