Anyone ever have a turning moment like i just had where i realized iv perfected my diet in such a way i realize its 100% streamlined to hit my macros and keep me satisfied and energized/happy?
I tend to eat alot of the same stuff in different combinations, After 10 months dieting I started focusing on improving macros and now i have replaced anything not worth the calories with beter things that are both delicious and nutrient dense.
It clicked I can totally do this for the rest of my life.
Anyone else have a click moment?

I wish this happens to me someday... Afters years of dieting I'm beginning to suspect macros will always be my struggling point. I just don't like many protein sources and get bored of the ones I do like pretty easily. It clicked for me to hit a happy minimum, but to hit my desired number I need lots of forethought and often foregoing things I do like which is why there are many days where I just don't bother...
Awesome for you! I hope all the right buttons keep clicking for you.1 -

I eat alot of greek yogurt, Potatoes, eggs, Cottage cheese, Tuna, Bread, Cream cheese and fruits/veg. My main staples their so yummy XD Took me a while to find the foods my body liked (carbs) and ways i liked to add in protein (tuna, yogurt, cottage cheese in my pb2 smoothie) Fat just sort of fell into place with the eggs2 -

I absolutely love Greek yogurt and it's one of the few things I can eat daily without even thinking about it (and I do). I just don't have access to reduced fat variety (and don't like it anyway) so eating enough to get good protein numbers would take a large chunk off my calorie budget (150-200 cal per 8g of protein).0 -

I looking for a vanilla meal replacement powder or protein powder that tastes good, if you know one let me know. I have to use unsweetened plain greek yogurt in smoothies just to cut the over sweet fake taste of most vanilla flavours

Yeah! People totally make fun of me for eating my fav healthy foods again and again and again.... which I find strange because I feel like most people eat pretty similar foods everyday. Why would I stray from what is making me happy, healthy and fit? I don't go around recommending what I eat to everyone. I just know it works for me2

My breakfast and am snacks are identical for WEEKS on end, lol! I may change up the combos, but between the two it's always essentially some berries, greek yogurt, coffee, toast or English muffin, banana if I'm extra hungry that day. My pm snack is ALWAYS carrot, celery, cucumber, and an egg. They're delicious, keep me satisfied, and are super easy to keep track of . I occasionally feel bad, like when my mom bought me a bag of oranges from the farmer's market that look amazing - I just never seem to want to eat them . . .
If it works for you, keep doing it!0 -

Oh my goodness those look amazing! I love Greek yogurt, too, and eat it almost daily. I also find that with having active hobbies (cycling, dancing, golf), that a higher carb diet works better for me as well. I want to try the taco mix, though probably with chicken (never been much of a tuna fan).
Lately I've been making peanut butter and banana baked oatmeal and it's been keeping me full for a loong time. I enjoy discovering things like that.0 -
I haven't had a moment exactly like that, but I have had a series of exciting moments where I realized I actually liked healthy foods that I thought I hated. Like I always thought I hated vegetables (aside from carrots), but it turns out I love roast broccoli, I like the taste of kale in quiche, I like kale chips, I like asparagus . . . It's been a lot easier to feel good and not overeat now that I have more veggie options to keep my stomach full.0
