Mine is anger. It just fuels me. I did said love before but is a lie. I am furious I let myself go. Stress of Life, daily routines, responsibilities render me incapable of time to take care of myself. Please, excuse my grammar, first language is Spanish, I am trying my best.

Yeah!!! Sex is a great answer. Also one of the main reason I want to loose weight. I could add more to my reply, but I'll refrain myself from doing so

Not sure why it was so funny, but glad to be good for a laugh. Laughing is a great way to stay healthy, physically and emotionally. I love laughing so hard that my sides hurt.

I know hunting is not fun and games. Is something very serious and precious to you, but, to me your answer was not expected, reason I thought it was funny. Someone else answer sex, which was unexpected and also a very funny answer in my opinion. Laughter keeps me young at heart.

My kids. I want to give an example and teach them to take care of themselves and their body because it is important and they are worth it. I grew up overweight obese amd my mom was obese and i always was afraid she would die or get sick because of it and it tormented me as a child thay i could lose her forever . It still worries me to this day and im an adult. She hasnt changed her ways but i did. I am tired of living in the shadow of who I am meant to trully be. This is what fuels me.

I agree with anger. My in laws are all morbidly obese but they love to focus and bring attention to the 30 lbs I've gained since being married. I think it's because I'm the smallest member of the family so it makes them feel better about themselves to talk about it. I dislike them very, very much and the thought of getting back to my normal size and rubbing it in their faces helps fuel me.

Sorry but I reject the premise. At some point I gave up motivation for determination. Maybe anger fits in there.

I don't even like the name of this board. I think people searching for lost motivation to keep losing want to feel good all the time. Sometimes you just have to put your head down and plow ahead. Maybe that's anger. Determined sounds better I think.

Actually, I prefer to think of it as a habit ... just something we do.

We brush our teeth in the morning, get dressed and go to work, exercise, eat within our calorie limit, walk the dog, put the kids to bed or whatever ... it's all just what we do.

You can't just not show up to work one day (well, I don't know, maybe you can, but I can't) so why would I diet and exercise any differently.

Oddly enough, Key (the dog in my avatar) is the key to keeping me going. We do sheepdog trials together, and since she needs to be in peak physical shape to do it, why shouldn't I be trying to be in the same shape as her? Plus it was really hard & uncomfortable physically to be running around the fields when I was 222+lbs. I've got another 10lbs or so go to, and still want to be more muscled/stronger to keep up with her and wrangle sheep/pens more easily.

People willingly judge eachother and words can brake a spirit. I do hope you dig dip inside and find it in you to make the best desicions. Nice to meet you! Please, take care.
