Less Hungry on Weekends

On a normal work day, I am usually starving by 10:30 - 11:00 and sometimes have to eat a little snack before my lunch at 12:00.

On days off, I can go till 2-3:00 or later sometimes with out eating.

Wonder what's the deal???

I'm more active during days off so you would think I would be hungrier than if I was sitting at my desk for 8 hours.

Anyone experience this?

It could easily be the case that environmental cues trigger your thoughts of food at work, and those cues aren't present at the weekend. It could also be that your work is boring and your interpretation of boring becomes "hunger".

Probably because you are running around doing errands and stuff so time can get away from you, but if you are at a desk and you are looking at the clock I think sometimes that can factor in to eating when you aren't necessarily hungry.

I'm really regimented during the work week, I eat my meals on a great schedule on the weekends I'm all over the place because I'm running around, I've been really trying to at the very least drink my protein coffee before I go run errands, because if I don't then I am famished and eat too much, or not the proper food.

Yeah I find I typically need a snack in the morning and afternoon during the workweek, but not so much on the weekend. I honestly have an easier time staying on track on the weekends!

I chalk it up to a combination of I need to be more alert and focused at work, and environmental cues.

Are you sleeping more on weekends? Because this completely changes how hungry I am.
Could be the activities too. Or boredom.

Straight boredom!!!!!....happens to me too. I usually only eat 2 or 3 times, all weekend.

May sleep a little bit later on the weekends but not much, maybe an hour or so.

I definitely think there is something about environmental cues that another poster mentioned.

    Probably boredom...

I'm less hungry on the weekends because I'm on the go and often just annoyed that I need to stop and eat something (except for dinner)...

During the week, I'm stuck behind my desk most of the time and work 10 hour days and get bored so always want to nibble on something...
